Each year since 2000, the Italian Geotechnical Society (Associazione Geotecnica Italiana – AGI) has organised a Lecture dedicated to the memory of the late Professor Arrigo Croce, who was the first professor of Soil Mechanics in Italy, President of the AGI, vice-President for Europe of the ISSMFE and co-founder of the Technical Committee devoted to the Geotechnical Aspects of Preservation of Historic Sites.
The AGI is happy to announce that this year's edition will be presented by Prof. Eduardo ALONSO (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), who will be lecturing on Crystal Growth in Geotechnics.
