Luiz Guilherme de Mello would like to advise all ISSMGE members that Prof. Victor de Mello''s unfinished book on Embankment Dams and Fills is available for downloading from his website [www.victorfbdemello.com.br;victorfbdemello.com.br]. In addition to the material that is already there, Prof. de Mello''s thesis and other technical papers will be available as from the 27th July 2009.
Most of the downloads are in Portuguese, but Luiz Guilherme de Mello is working on English versions, to be made available in due course.
