ISSMGE Council elects Jean-Louis Briaud as President and chooses venue for 18ICSMGE.

At the Council Meeting in Alexandria on 4 October 2009, Professor Jean-Louis Briaud was elected as the next President of ISSMGE for the period 2009 - 2013. Other key points from the Council Meeting are:

The next quadriennial international conference (18ICMSGE) will be held in Paris, France, 1 - 5 September 2013.

The next Council Meeting will be in Toronto, Canada, 2 October 2011, on occasion of the XIV Panamerican Conference.
