4° Congreso Internacional de Fundaciones Profundas de Bolivia

On May 23 and 24, 2019, the Fourth Internacional Congreso de Fundaciones Profundas de Bolivia, the 4CFPB, will take place. The conference follows the three very successful previous conferences held in 2013, 2015, and 2017. The conference— held in cooperation with ISSMGE Technical Committee TC212, “Deep Foundations”— is organized by INCOTEC S.A. in association with the Society of Engineers of Bolivia and the Bolivian Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering. The venue is the Marriot Hotel in Santa Cruz – Bolivia. Two short courses (in both Spanish and English) will be presented on May 25 on topics related to the design and execution of deep foundations and urban excavations. These courses will take place in the UPSA Campus (Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz).
The themes of the conference are: Large Pile Groups and Urban Excavations. The focus is on the presentation and discussion of the state-of-practice, new developments, and the application of research results to practice by international experts who are leaders in their fields. An exhibition including field demonstrations will be arranged with the participation of leading manufacturers of foundation equipment and machines.
