CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

We are happy to invite researchers, professionals and academics to submit contributions for the International Conference on Advances and Innovations in Soft Soil Engineering - Soft Soils 2026.

The submission process will be completed in two stages, both through the ISSMGE Conference Review Platform. First, abstracts will be submitted and reviewed by the scientific committee (stage 1). After acceptance, participants are welcome to choose between two types of contributions (stage 2):

• Extended Abstract (3-4 pages): Accepted extended abstracts will be published with open access on the ISSMGE website.
• Full Conference Paper (6-8 pages): Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings indexed in Scopus. 

Stage 1. Abstract formatting guidelines

Abstracts should clearly summarise the motivations, aim & objectives, methodology and key results of the work, as well as emphasise its broader significance and impact.

• Language: English
• Length: Maximum of 250 words or 2,500 characters

Abstracts are directly typed in the ISSMGE platform without a specific template.

Stage 2. Extended abstract / Conference paper formatting guidelines

Note that extended abstracts and conference papers have their own specific template. The templates, along with detailed instructions, are available at https://softsoils2026.dryfta.com/95-call-for-contributions-new. Kindly ensure you use the correct template for your chosen contribution type.

Submissions must be uploaded in .docx  and .pdf format through the ISSMGE platform, regardless of the contribution type selected. All submissions will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee.

Please note that all contributions will have a plagiarism check as part of the review process.
