Dr. Jan Kupec (New Zealand - Australasia)
Jan Kupec is Aurecons Lead Principal in Ground and Underground Engineering in New Zealand. He provides subject matter expertise in national and international transportation projects. He is a Fellow of Engineering NZ and appointed by several NZ Crown Agencies as a subject matter expert and forensic specialist. Jan is one of only two Geotechnical Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) Specialists in Asia Pacific. He is an expert on risk-based assessment of slope stability, bridge foundations and monitoring using instrumentation and remote sensing.
