Eng. Daniela Pollak Board member (Chile - South America)
Daniela Pollak Aguiló has 17+ years of experience working for the copper mining industry. Her experience ranges from feasibility studies and engineering design to construction supervision (mostly associated with large-scale waste and tailings dams). She currently works for Arcadis in Santiago de Chile. She has been part of the Chilean Geotechnical Society (SOCHIGE) since 2009 and has been President in the period 2018-2019. She was Chair of the PANAMGEO Conference held in November 2025 in la Serena and has been selected as the next Vice-President of the South-America region of the ISSMGE.
