Prof. George Gazetas (Greece - Europe)
George Gazetas, Emeritus Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, is an expert in soil dynamics and seismic soilfoundationstructure interaction. Much of his research has been inspired by observations after destructive earthquakes, and this is the expertise he brings in GeoWB. For his research contributions he has been honored as the 4th Ishihara and the 59th Rankine Lecturer.
