Prof. Pierre Delage - Chair (France - Europe)
Pierre Delage is emeritus professor at Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées (Institut Polytechnique de Paris). He conducted research on soil microstructure and on the thermomechanical behaviour of multiphase soils and rocks. He has been Chief editor of the Revue française de Géotechnique, honorary editor of Géotechnique Letters and member of various editorial panels. He was Chair of the Technical Oversight Committee of the ISSMGE (2013 2022) and now manages the ISSMGE Geo-engineers without Borders project.
