2. Purpose of Meeting

The purpose of this meeting is to review the progress and coordinate preparations for the CAPG session at ICSMGE 2026 Vienna, including:

  • Presentation status updates
  • Webpage and QR code preparation
  • Time allocation confirmation for each presenter
  • Session scheduling confirmation

3.  Key Discussion Points

3.1  CAPG Webpage & QR Code

  • RE informed the presenters that:
    • a dedicated page for the CAPG Presentations at ICSMGE has been created on the ISSMGE website.
    • This platform will host:
    • Each CA Presenter details and contact information
    • Downloadable presentation materials
    • The page is currently not public and will be made accessible during the event.
    • A QR code will be displayed at the end of the session to allow attendees to access materials and contact presenters.
  • AK shared screen to present a draft of the webpage during the meeting for feedback.

3.2  CAPG Main Video Presentation updates

  • RE informed the team that the CAPG introductory video is in progress (approx. 20% completed) and the video will include:
    • Overview of CAPG activities
    • Benefits of joining
    • Online payment process information
  • Expected completion timeline: within two weeks.

3.3 Presentation Updates from Participants UTS – Buddhima Indraratna

  • He confirmed that 4 slides have been prepared (approx. 4–4.5 minutes) and will be shared with the Chair for review.
  • He mentioned that it includes an 18-second embedded video.

MENARD/SRK – Alexandre Hubaut; Joint presentation.

  • AH stated that the joint MENARD/SRK presentation will likely include a short video of approximately 30 seconds and will focus on a dam seismic upgrade project using stone columns. The submission is expected by the end of next week, and the content will emphasize innovation and sustainability, with a preference for strong visuals rather than heavy technical detail.

Jacek Kawalec & Oliver Detert mentioned that they are currently working with their respective marketing teams on preparing their presentations and confirmed their commitment to keeping within the allocated 4.5-minute time limit. GDS – Ang ko han

  • GDS presentation is currently 20 slides (he was advised that it is too long for 4minute allocation).
  • Action required: Reduce content to fit within 4–4.5 minutes.
  • Agreed to revise and shorten slides.

3.4 ICSMGE CAPG Time Allocation

  • The total allocated session for CAPG duration is 30 minutes.
  • Each presenter must strictly adhere to 4–4.5 minutes maximum.
  • No extensions permitted, as it will affect other presenters.
  • Emphasis on concise, impactful presentations.

3.5 Event Schedule Confirmation

  • Current schedule online reflects that CAPG session scheduled for Wednesday at ICSMGE 2026.
  • Session will take place:
    • After the break
    • In a main session (not parallel)

3.6 Additional Notes

  • Next coordination meeting to be scheduled once all presentations are compiled in two weeks approx.

A final alignment meeting will take place before Vienna to confirm presentation order and flow.
