Geoquest, previously known under Terre Armée, creates and develops retaining, crossing, protective and strengthening solutions, leveraging its unparalleled expertise in reinforced backfill and soil-structure interaction. Its techniques have applications in a variety of fields such as roads and motorways, rail, industry, the environment or water engineering.
The Geoquests technical solutions fall under one of four functions, depending on the purpose of the structure to be built: RETAIN, CROSS, PROTECT and STRENGTHEN.
Retain includes a wide range of solutions for retaining projects such as our iconic Reinforced Earth® technique, as well as TerraLink® Shored MSE; precast retaining walls systems, T-Wall® and TechWall®; solutions for steep slopes such as ArmaGreen® and ArmaStone®.
Cross offers solutions for structures designed to cross various natural or non-natural obstacles. It includes the precast concrete TechSpan® arch system, steel arches, TechBox® and their derivatives.
Geoquests protection systems mitigate the damage caused by natural disasters or related phenomena, as well as resist industrial risks. Its protect portfolio includes solutions for rockfall, avalanche and landslides protection, erosion control and scour protection, waves and floods barriers, slopes, flood plains and shorelines management.
Through the Strengthen function, Geoquest designs and supplies materials for geosynthetic solutions that are used for basal reinforcement applications such as piled embankments, embankments over soft foundations, void bridging and soil stabilization.
