10th African Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference
Description
The 10th African Young Geotechnical Engineers (10th AYGEC) will be held in Lagos, Nigeria at the University of Lagos from 26th to 29th April, 2026. The event will give opportunity to Young Member Presidential Group (YMPG) and Young Geotechnical Engineers from Africa and other ISSMGE Regions to meet, interact, share experiences, and present their work to their fellow Geotechnical Engineers. The main theme of the conference is " Innovations and best Practices in Geotechnical Engineering for African Development". The program of the conference will include:-
- Invited Lectures/ Keynote Speeches
- Technical Presentations
- Poster Challenge
- Social Program including Folcloric matters
- Technical Tour (Eko Atlantic Project)
- Competition among participants
- Exhibitions
Young Geotechnical Engineers and researchers from Africa and beyond are requested and encouraged to submit abstracts of their works ( Maximum of 300 words) to the e mail address: [email protected] before 30th July, 2025.
