Description
Press-in Engineering is an interdisciplinary field integrating research, technology, and practice through collaboration among academia, industry, and government. It combines geotechnical, environmental, and mechanical engineering with advanced monitoring and data technologies to support sustainable, resilient infrastructure. Originating in Japan, press-in piling has become a global innovation, increasingly adopted in Europe for projects protecting waterways, coastal areas, and cultural heritage.
ICPE 2027, organized by the International Press-in Association (IPA), will provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to exchange the latest developments and practical applications in press-in engineering. The conference aims to strengthen collaboration across academia, industry, and government, and to promote sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions.
Under the key theme, Press-in Engineering for Resilient, Sustainable and Culturally Sensitive Infrastructure, the conference will feature keynote lectures by leading experts, technical sessions covering a wide range of topics, and opportunities for knowledge exchange and networking.
