Dear Colleagues,
ISSMGE is working on the Virtual Time Capsule project (VTC) witht the purpose of bringing together and providing a common heritage to all geotechnical engineers, see https://www.issmge.org/the-society/time-capsule/time-capsule.
Each TC will document the development of their area, most conveniently by decades, focussing on major breakthroughs and why that came about, with collateral material (papers etc) that support their story.
In the frame of numerical methods I believe that we, as TC103 members, have an interesting contribution to give because the use of numerical analyses significantly changed geotechnical engineering projects in the last decades.
TC103 core group is currently collecting material and ideas to contribute to this VTC project, and we would like to hear your vision. Please contact us to share your ideas and material.
