Assessment of the bearing capacity of bored piles with Expander Body technology using pressuremeter test-based methods
This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of various semi-empirical methods for estimating the bearing capacity of bored piles with the innovative Expander Body technology in lateritic soils. The study analyzed the precision and accuracy of different methods based on PMT tests using the Ranking Distance Index (RD). Results showed that methods based on PMT tests were adequate for estimating the load capacity of piles equipped with the Expander Body technology in lateritic soils.
