Future Leaders Committee
Welcome to the Future Leaders Board-Level Committee of ISSMGE
Objectives and tasks:
- Identify early- and mid-career professionals with leadership potentials via global nominations and expert recommendations, ensuring balanced geographic representation and enhanced participation from academia, industries and contractors.
- Facilitate structured mentorship by connecting selected individuals with senior leaders to support leadership growth through dialogue, governance experience exchange, dialogue, governance experience exchange, and structured knowledge transfer for long-term leadership succession.
- Coordinate access to professional development opportunities (e.g., conferences, technical sessions, working groups, editorial roles), while strengthening links with national societies and integrating regional networks to improve coordination within ISSMGE governance.
- Organize workshops and roundtables on governance, conference organization, cross-border collaboration, professional service, and produce structured outputs (e.g., reports and best-practice notes) to enhance leadership readiness.
- Strengthen and empower committee members for active engagement in ISSMGE governance.
