Elena Angelova is Deputy General Manager of Geohydroconsulting with over 10 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering. She holds BSc and MSc degrees in Geotechnical Engineering from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Skopje; MSc and DIC in Soil Mechanics and Environmental Geotechnics from Imperial College London, and a PhD in Earthquake Engineering from the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (IZIIS), completed in 2023.

Her professional experience spans infrastructure, environmental, and energy projects, including railways, roads, wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, disposal areas, gas pipelines, wind turbines, and solar power plants. Her expertise covers field investigations and data interpretation, geotechnical analysis and design, construction supervision, project coordination, and management of multidisciplinary teams. She regularly communicates with local and international clients and coordinates project activities to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely completion.

Elena Angelova is an active member of the Macedonian Association for Geotechnics (MAG), serving on its Executive Board and having previously chaired the Division of Young Geotechnical Engineers. She has also represented MAG at Council Meetings and contributed to the organization of professional conferences. Throughout her education and career, she has received multiple scholarships and grants for participation in professional events. She holds Authorization A for the design and supervision of first-category structures, issued by the Chamber of Certified Architects and Certified Engineers of Macedonia.
