Fu-Hsuan Yeh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. She received her bachelor’s degree from the National University of Kaohsiung in 2011 and her master’s and Ph.D. degrees in civil engineering from National Taiwan University in 2013 and 2021, respectively. Before pursuing her doctoral degree, she worked as a geotechnical engineer at CTCI Corporation for 3.5 years. Her academic experience includes postdoctoral research at National Taiwan University (2021-2023) and a visiting scholarship at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, supported by the DAAD–NSTC Taiwan Sandwich Scholarship and the NSTC–DAAD Project-Based Personnel Exchange Program.
Her research focuses on constitutive modeling and numerical and physical modeling in geotechnical engineering, with applications to soil liquefaction, soil–structure interaction, underground construction, rockfall dynamics, automated geotechnical monitoring, and photoelastic particle analysis. She currently leads two NSTC-funded research projects and two industry–academia collaborative projects at NTUST.
She has published 11 articles in SCIE-indexed journals. She is a Professional Geotechnical Engineer in Taiwan and a member of the Taiwan Professional Geotechnical Engineers Association. She currently serves as a Director of the Taiwan Geotechnical Society and contributes to the profession through journal reviewing and technical committee service.
