National Transport Infrastructure Workshop (NTIW) 2019
The ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centre for Advanced Technologies in Rail Track Infrastructure (ITTC Rail) is proud to be hosting 2019 National Transport Infrastructure
Workshop (NTIW) on 13–14 February 2019 at Pullman Sydney Hyde Park Australia.
Designed to bring together practitioners and researchers as well as the broad community of geo-professionals who are interested in ground engineering aspects of transport infrastructure, the NTIW will host numerous presentations addressing state-of-the-art practices, innovative technologies, new research outcomes of significant industry impact, and case histories in design and construction of roads, rail substructure and other pavement applications.
The NTIW aims to provide a timely technology forum for professional engineers, researchers, specialist, contractors, regulators, educators and engineering students to learn and share their knowledge and experiences, and work together towards advancing the state of Australian transport infrastructure encompassing both fundamental and applied aspects.
The 2-day Workshop highlights will include discussions of step-by-step Rail Track Design procedures with real-life examples led by Professor Buddhima Indraratna; presentations by renowned experts from Australia, USA, UK, Japan and China, and the field visit to National High Speed Rail Testing Facility at University of Wollongong, Australia.
