The first International Conference on Foundation and Soft Ground Engineering Challenges in Mekong will be held from 5-6 June 2013 in Binh Duong City, Vietnam. The aim of this conference is to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners in order to find out the optimum geotechnical solutions for preserving the cultivated area, and constructing infrastructure in the Mekong Delta, under climate change. Indeed, it is a great challenge for the Vietnamese Geotechnical Engineers in confronting Sea Level Rise on the Mekong Delta.
