ISSMGE is pleased to announce that the proceedings of the 4th International Symposium on the Preservation of Monuments and Historic Sites, comprising 65 peer-reviewed papers, are now available in open access through the ISSMGE Online Library:

The Symposium was held in Athens, Greece, from 1618 September 2026, bringing together researchers and practitioners working across a broad range of topics related to the preservation and resilience of cultural heritage.
Through a separate initiative of the Hellenic Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (HSSMGE) and the Conference Chair, Dr. Ch. Tsatsanifos, individual papers will also be assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), further supporting their visibility, accessibility and long-term citation.
