In this study, we introduce a novel empirical method for assessing the erodibility of cohesionless soils. This method involves the calculation of a control diameter that represents the coarser fraction of the soil while considering key parameters that influence the soil's response to erosion. By comparing this control diameter to the characteristic diameter of the loosely composed finer fraction, we can effectively evaluate the soil's internal stability.
