In the year 2023, on 5th October, Ground Engineering (https://www.geplus.co.uk/) conducted 2nd Smart Geotechnics conference at Victoria Park Plaza, London. The main facus of the conference was to bring together experts working in the field of GE Instrumentation and Monitoring, geotechnical monitoring, data analysis and ground modeling etc. Special attention was on smart technologies, including the use of cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
During the event, TC206 committee member actively participated and provided inputs related to Smart Geotechnics that deals with sensors and Big Data; Feeds to Machine Learning and Real Time Back Analysis; Aligns with Observational Method.
