- Prof Antonio Gens: Introduction to numerical applications in unsaturated soils, - the Barcelona Basic model.
- Prof Charles Ng: Unsaturated behaviour of tropical residual soils from South East Asia Stress dependency of SWRC and perhaps small strain behaviour
- Prof Samuel Ampadu: Tropical lateritic soils, their behaviour and uses as construction materials.
