Description

The Algerian Geotechnical Society (ALGEOS) was created in May 2014, and obtained its approval on May 07, 2015 in accordance with the Algerian law 12-06 of January 12, 2012 relating to associations. It became a member of ISSMGE in September 2015.

ALGEOS organizes for the first time in Algiers the XVIIIth African Regional Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering.

Procedure for submission of abstracts and papers to 18th ARCSMGE24 and their review process

For all other Authors:

• Abstracts are submitted to the ISSMGE platform (deadline: September 15th,  2023 extension deadline to otober 14th, 2023, second extention deadline October 28th 2023). 
• Members of an International Review Committee analyze and accept (or reject) the abstracts.  Abstracts' status may be "pending" in the ISSMGE platform until October 15^st, 2023 (deadline for abstract notification acceptance).
• The Authors of accepted abstracts submit their papers using the available template (deadline: February 15^th, 2023).
• The Authors will be informed of the result of the review process by Mars 15^th, 2024. Authors should submit the revised paper until April 15^th, 2024.

Conference Language

• The official conference language will be English and French. No simultaneous translation will be available. All published materials will be in English and French.
